8) After having seen the waterfall, try to follow the brook to the outlet.

At this picture you can see my wife Jette. The bridge is monumental, compared to the brooklet.

7) Only few people have taken their time to look at this little brook, but it is recommended!

6) From the waterfall the brook rushes towards the outlet in the sea. The slope is very high.

5) HDeep down in the rift valley you can feel that you are in quite a different world than the outside world!

4) I have been looking for  Philopotamus montanus in this little stream, but i vain. This type of little stream with a lot of small waterfalls and turbulent water is the perfect habitat for the rare caddis.

3) - And it IS indeed a beautiful waterfall!

2) From the coast road you can enter the steep rift valley via a narrow staircase. The beautiful waterfall is situated ca. 100 m upstream the bridge.

1) Storefos has a drainage area on  1,9 km, and is one of the minor rift valley streams on Bornholm.

Like Vårbæk, this stream is often dry in the summer months.
